The Mustač family moved to Zadar at the call to the pastorate in 2019. Prior to this, they were involved in the ministry of the Theological Biblical Academy in Krapina, Croatia. They are both native Croatians.

Both Ivan and his wife, Irena, have a passion for the local church, where Irena does much discipling of other ladies in the church.

Ivan is a graduate of Theological Biblical Academy, Croatia. He not only trained there, but went on to serve on staff and help with many ministry duties in the local church TBA resides in. He has been a faithful shepherd and teacher of the people in Zadar for the last couple of years.

Because of the cost of living and culture of Croatia, it is a rare scenario for the pastor to be freed up completely for the work of ministry. However, with the support of other ministries and individuals internationally, Ivan has been able to focus all of his time and efforts into the pastorate at Zadar Baptist Church.

In his time in Zadar, their church has seen many be baptized and grow in their faith in Christ.

Theological Biblical Academy (TBA) exists to equip church leaders and church planters in the nations of the former Republic of Yugoslavia. TBA’s goal is to produce graduates who have a profound spiritual maturity, an irreproachable character, a deep understanding of the Scriptures, a thorough knowledge of theology and church history, a proven ability to evangelize the lost and tested skills for pastoral ministry including expository preaching, counseling, and leadership in the local church. Students can study for one to five years depending on their abilities, calling, and goals.

TBA has graduates and faculty members serving in churches and planting new churches in Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Bosnia. TBA also holds seminars for local churches to help equip their members and future leaders for the work of the ministry. TBA is involved in translating and publishing Christian literature to provide needed Christian material for believers in this part of the world who do not have many resources. Over the years TBA has produced over twenty books including titles by John MacArthur, Steve Lawson, and Paul Washer.
